Exterior view of the SGT site

The American company SGT, a subsidiary of AREVA, is one of the leading service providers on the market for the replacement of nuclear components.

SGT is an American joint venture formed in 1992, jointly held by URS Washington Division and AREVA.

Its original purpose was the replacement of steam generators. The company has now diversified with the replacement of other components such as reactor vessel heads.

SGT's priority is to make every effort to reduce the duration of unit outages and to provide support for customers in the operation and maintenance of their nuclear power plants.

SGT holds a number of national and international records in terms of the performance and duration of unit outages.

SGT has been awarded contracts for the replacement of steam generators and reactor vessel heads for nuclear power plants in the states of Arkansas, California, Florida, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Wisconsin.
