Clinical trials

AREVA Med is dedicated to improving the lives of cancer patients by developing new methods for producing medical-grade 212Pb, a promising isotope for combating cancer and other diseases.
Our goal is to develop 212Pb radiolabeled biopharmaceuticals, extend survival, and improve the overall quality of life of patients suffering from cancer. Our current Phase I clinical trial is designed for patients with HER-2 expressing carcinoma (e.g., ovarian, pancreatic, colon, gastric, or breast), mainly confined to the abdominal cavity.

Phase I clinical trials are a crucial part of developing new treatments; during this phase, patients volunteer to receive a new medicine and to be observed for its effects.

AREVA Med posts information for its ongoing clinical trial on the National Institutes of Health (NIH) website, ClinicalTrials.gov.  To learn more about the AREVA Med-sponsored clinical trial, please visit  the ClinicalTrial website. The clinical site conducting the trial may also be contacted to obtain additional information on our study.

Patients interested in participating in this clinical trial should discuss this option with their physicians.  Please contact the University of Alabama at Birmingham directly for enrollment information:
