Mining activity records

The Mines Business Group covers exploration, extraction and processing of uranium ore. It is also responsible for redeveloping the sites once they have been mined. Reporting and field case studies.
AREVA assures redevelopment of legacy mine sites and monitors them. This activity is carried out under government supervision.
AREVA and Niger decided to extend their partnership on January 5. At stake: the future company for the operation of the Imouraren deposit.
AREVA was one of the first multinational corporations to participate in the EITI. Four countries in which the Group has mining operations are implementing this program for responsible development.
With the Fast Track project, AREVA is increasing its output capacity and strengthening its partnership with Kazahkstan, the world's number one uranium-producing country.
