History

Since 1979 the Georges Besse (EURODIF) plant enriched by gaseous diffusion natural uranium to meet the needs of its customers.
A look back at the history of EURODIF Production
- 2007: EURODIF Production renews its 3 certifications: ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
- 1979: The first enriched uranium production is run on the site.
- 1976: EURODIF Production (civil uranium enrichment) is founded.
- 1958: Tricastin is selected, at the behest of Charles de Gaulle, as the site of uranium enrichment plants for national defense, to be managed by the CEA (start-up in 1963).
