ANF: three sites for assembly fabrication

Close-up of fuel assembly rods at the Lingen plant in Germany

Advanced Nuclear Fuels GmbH (ANF) is a full subsidiary of AREVA. Its headquarters are in Lingen (Germany) and its operations are distributed over three sites in Germany.

The plant in Duisburg produces cladding and structural tubes for pressurized water reactors and boiling water reactors all around the world. It manufacturers more than 2,000 km of tubes every year.

The plant in Karlstein produces reactor insulators, covers, and reactor vessels, as well as tubes for boiling water reactors.

The plant in Lingen produces UO2 powder, as well as pellets, rods, and fuel assemblies for pressurized and boiling water reactors. Since the site's commissioning in 1977, it has produced more than 20,000 fuel elements.
