Gérald Arbola is graduate of the Institut d'Etudes Politiques of Paris with an advanced degree in Economics. Mr. Arbola joined SGN, COGEMA's (now AREVA NC) engineering subsidiary, in 1982 as Director of Strategic Planning and Analysis. He was Chief Financial Officer of SGN from 1985 to 1989 and became Executive Vice President of that company in 1988. He joined COGEMA (AREVA NC) in 1992 as Chief Financial Officer and became a member of the Executive Committee in 1999 while serving as Chairman of the Board of SGN in 1997 and 1998. Gérald Arbola has been a member of the Executive Board of CEA - Industrie since July 3, 2001.
As of September 2001, Gérald Arbola is a member of the Executive Board. In June 2006, he is appointed Chief Operating officer of the group.
