An international and multicultural group

AREVA employs 61,000 people in over 100 countries. Working at AREVA means working within international and multicultural teams which reflect the diversity of the group’s markets, customers and activities.

An HR policy focused on talent development

The AREVA human resources policy, Talent Builder, is based on the development of all talents in the group.

In order to support the group's future international development in a promising market, and renew skills required, AREVA must attract, develop and motivate all talents.

Diversity

AREVA is committed to diversity, a key element in the human resources policy, and driver for the group's development, with particular focus on:
Professional equality: AREVA aims to increase the recruitment of women in all job categories
The employment of disabled people
Ethnic and cultural diversity

Sharing a common culture

Since 2002, AREVA University has allowed the sharing of the management model integrating the group's values charter and the principles and commitments of the sustainable development and continuous improvement policy. The University targets senior executives, experts, future leaders and newcomers to the group.
Group strategy is presented each year to 250 senior executives during the Management Days which provide a forum for sharing objectives and cross-cultural dialog. This strategy is then deployed in the various group entities around the world.

Listening to all employees

AREVA commits to enhancing the well-being of its employees and their working conditions, and has implemented a group employee opinion survey:
Providing objective and regular measurement of employee satisfaction regarding various labor aspects
Establishing action plans in response to employee expectations

Launched in 2003 and successfully carried out in all subsidiaries, the survey was harmonized in 2006 with a common group process.
