Career development

Talent Building refers to human resources development policies, process and tools across the group, and embodies AREVA's human resources commitments:
Enable employees to take an active role in their career
Reinforce the role of managers in developing their teams
Help identify talents at all levels of the organization in order to develop skills and retain employees
Promote internal mobility, by offering employees opportunities at group level and a wide range of experience (on site, within project teams, at corporate headquarters, international, etc.)

Key elements of the Talent Building policy include:

Each year People Reviews bring together management and human resources at business unit level and then at subsidiary level.
They help guide employee career development at group level while promoting mobility and ensuring that a common culture is shared.

Each year, employees meet with their manager to:
 Assess the previous year's performance
Determine objectives for the coming year
Draw up a personal professional development plan

Across the world, each employee can benefit from this interview which is carried out based on shared principles.

Career committees are organized 2-3 times a year. They bring together management and human resources and aim to ensure that decisions taken during the People Reviews are followed up and carried out. These decisions refer in particular to mobility and training which correspond to major aims of the group’s human resources policy.

Internal mobility at a group like AREVA is a fulfilling experience on a personal and professional level.
Mobility, including geographical mobility, is one of the key elements in individual development plans
All jobs available worldwide can be accessed by all employees on the group’s intranet sites

Around 500 group employees are on expatriate assignments each year.

Talent development is a key element in AREVA's human resources policy, and professional training is an integral part of all employees’ career paths.
