The Services business unit supplies its customers with services dedicated to support and maintenance, throughout their lifecycle, of products and systems provided by the group.

These services include:

 power system engineering, consulting, training, and transmission and distribution expertise

 long-term maintenance contracts for products and substations

 repair services, spare parts and products installation and start-up services

 electrical substation upgrading and refurbishing

 information technology support for grid management systems and safety/control products.

 Customers

The business unit's customers are mostly:

 power companies managing the entire process of electricity generation, transmission and distribution, from the power plant to the final user

 transmission companies

 public and private distribution companies

 major industrial power users

 infrastructure companies such as airports and railway networks.

Through its transmission and distribution operations, AREVA serves more than 30,000 customers in 160 countries worldwide.

Its technical expertise in products manufacturing processes and the development of synergies with the group's transmission and distribution division's 3 other business units form together a competitive advantage to the business unit.

Based in 20 countries, the business unit benefits from 37 sites dispatched as follows:

 25 in Europe, including 2 major sites in the United Kingdom, 8 in France and 4 in Germany

 7 in Asia-Pacific and the Middle-East

 5 in North America.
