Several water conservation actions were established as part of the environmental management system. For drinking water, conservation efforts focused on installing water meters to measure consumption and make consumers aware of the need to change their consumption patterns. For industrial water, the hunt was on for leaks in every production and distribution system. The entire distribution system was overhauled and flow meters were installed. |
