Recruitment, new skills for new markets

Céline JOURDAN, Training and Recruitment Manager at Chalon Saint Marcel (France) - Framatome ANP*
« This wave of recruitment has helped to create a new dynamic between people from very different backgrounds with varying profiles, as well as fostering relations between generations.

Even if jobs remain the same, the profiles we are looking for have changed, with more focus on the development of new technologies and international openings. English has also become an essential asset for people joining a team which could include Americans, Chinese and Finnish.

The main difficulties we have are linked to a drop in specialized workers in certain industry fields, causing a scarcity of skills which are nevertheless essential to our manufacturing process. »
