Framatome ANP* - W. Wright

Attracting young people to the nuclear industry is critical to Framatome ANP* Inc. for the future.

It is the reason why the company is pursuing an innovative training partnership with the Central Virginia Community College (CVCC) in Lynchburg, VA.

Framatome ANP* Inc. has pledged $1 million to the CVCC to strengthen its education partnership and ensure that the company will have skilled people to satisfy its needs both to remain competitive and to provide high-quality service to its customers in the nuclear energy industry.

In 2002, 28 students were enrolled in this program, and about 60 are forecast for 2003.
