46 volunteers for solidarity missions with Planète Urgence |
|
|||||
Through its partnership with the association Planète Urgence, begun in 2003, AREVA has been able to foster employee adhesion and involvement in the group's patronage programs. To date, 46 group employees from across all entities have gone on solidarity missions with Planète Urgence. Almost half of them went to Niger, a country in which the group has substantial operations. Planète Urgence is a non-governmental organization (NGO) that promotes international solidarity. Its objective is to support the development of the world's poorest countries and environmental protection. It allows people with no special skills in the fields of medicine and logistics to become full-fledged contributors to solidarity missions. |
