A high-integrity fuel cask
In parallel with MOX fuel development programs, new casks were developed to transport the fuel. The higher capacity of the new MX 8 cask helps to optimize the number of shipments.
R&D is constantly being conducted to develop and optimize technologies. More than 10 new cask concepts are developed every year.
