Training for manway resurfacing - Training Center (USA)

Minimizing plant outage duration...

Before deploying to a nuclear power plant, the service personnel must undergo special training. They train on full-scale “mockups” that simulate the actual environment in which they will work.

This ensures confidence, high quality, and efficient execution of maintenance tasks resulting in minimized equipment downtime, and the lowest achievable levels of personnel exposure to radiation.

Training is provided in dedicated centers such as CETIC in France (the group and EDF joint center) or in the "Training Center" in the United States.
