Tests during planned outage in a Chinese nuclear power plant

Going from supplier to fully fledged partner...

After work on Daya Bay came the Ling Ao plant – two 1000 MWe units – proof of the close collaboration between Framatome ANP*, an AREVA and Siemens company and its Chinese partners over more than 15 years. A major technology transfer program was set up in engineering, fuel fabrication and equipment manufacture, maintenance and operation of nuclear plants.

Nuclear energy is enabling China to reduce its coal consumption, which is the main producer of greenhouse gas emissions.
