The energy produced by a fuel assembly has doubled in 25 years!

Thanks to improvements in its design and management, the fuel burns more slowly and outages for reloading the reactor core are less frequent.
The plant's availability thus increases and electricity is produced at a more competitive price.

Moreover, this improvement has enabled substantial savings in uranium resources and a reduction in the amount of spent fuel produced every year.
